Day 1  Arrival & Marrakech

Arrive into Marrakech Menara International Airport (RAK). Transfer to your hotel in Marrakech and get settled in.  Depending on your arrival time, head to Jemma al Fna at sunset and soak up Morocco’s most important square. Snake charmers, musicians, performers, and street vendors guarantee a sensory experience!

Day 2  Marrakech

After a relaxing breakfast, lose yourself in Marrakech’s world famous medina, the largest Berber marketplace in all of Morocco. You will find a handful of souqs (markets) including those selling spices, carpets, carpentry, jewelry, pottery, lanterns, leather, and more. In the afternoon, escape the desert sun by visiting Jardin Majorelle – a garden oasis in the middle of bustling Marrakech. Designed by Jacques Majorelle over 40 years, Jardin Majorelle is a must-visit and a well sought after break from the craziness that is Marrakech.

Overnight: Marrakech

Day 3  Marrakech

Enjoy your final day in Marrakech by doing some shopping or by visiting one of the many historical sights of the city including the Koutobia Mosque & Minaret (one of the oldest in the country), Ben Youssef Madrasa, Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, or the Royal Palace of Marrakech.  If you’re seeking more adventure, experience Marrakech by taking a hot air balloon ride over the city at dusk.  For those wanting to relax, check out one of the many posh oasis resorts, “beach clubs”, or an unforgettable hammam experience where massages, body scrubs, treatments, or steam rooms are another way to break away from the heat.

Overnight: Marrakech

Day 4  Casablanca

After breakfast, depart for Casablanca (approximately 3 hours). Arrive in Casablanca in the early afternoon and check into your hotel. Spend the afternoon strolling the spectacular courtyard and marveling at one of the world’s greatest architectural masterpieces—Hassan II Mosque. The mosque is located overlooking the ocean and is Casablanca’s most iconic symbol.

Overnight: Casablanca

Day 5  Casablanca + Rabat

After breakfast, head north to Rabat (approximately 1 hour). Visit the famous Chellah necropolis before sunset and enjoy the evening in Morocco’s administrative and government capital.

Overnight: Rabat

After breakfast explore Rabat’s picturesque medina and wander through the city’s quaint souq.  From Rabat, you will leave the coast and head east toward the Atlas Mountains to one of Morocco’s most precious jewels—Fez.

Overnight: Fez

Day 7  Fez

Get lost in the dizzying maze of Fez’s medina—a UNESCO World Heritage site and the world’s largest urban area inaccessible by car. Visit the famous leather tanneries, get your shopping fix in, and be sure to catch the panoramic view from one of the hundreds of rooftop terraces.

Overnight: Fez

Day 8  Fez + Tangier

After lunch, begin your journey north to Tangier (approximately 5 hours). Arrive in Tangier in the early evening, check into your hotel, and head to dinner at one of Tangier’s many diverse restaurants.

Day 9  Tangier

Explore the picturesque medina of Tangier—the scene of multiple Hollywood movies—stroll the corniche along the Mediterranean, or trace the footsteps of countless artists, writers, and musicians who found their inspiration in Tangier’s idyllic setting. Soak up the Mediterranean breeze from one of the many cafes, rooftop terraces, or vistas in the city or plan a visit to the fortress, one of the museums, or one of several historical sites Tangier has to offer.

Overnight: Tangier
